
Industry Experience
Since the age of 21, I have served as CEO of more than 30 companies, along with roles as a consultant and twice as a Chief Operating Officer. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to build, lead, and advise organizations across a wide range of industries.
That breadth of experience has given me a practical understanding of what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to leadership, operations, growth, and long-term sustainability.
This page represents a comprehensive effort to document the industries I’ve worked in. While no list is ever perfect, it reflects the scope of a career built on hands-on execution, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Charity
My commitment to charitable work began in 1999 through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, helping build homes for those in need. We reinforced that commitment by dedicating a percentage of top-line revenue from InsureTrade to support these efforts.
In 2005, I founded C4 Worldwide to expand that impact globally. The mission was clear: deliver healthcare solutions to underserved populations and create dignified, practical pathways for individuals experiencing homelessness—making the transition to stability both achievable and sustainable.
We provided services to China, Japan, Argentina, Venezuela, Africa, and the U.S.
In 2018 we began feeding the homeless in Las Vegas and especially homeless kids.
Plumbing
My first company was a plumbing manufacturers’ representative firm, representing ten product lines, including underground plumbing systems. I worked directly with Walt Disney World during its early development, supplying key infrastructure components.
I also contributed to the approval of PVC pipe for both in-wall and in-ground use in the state of Florida—helping advance a material that would become a new industry standard. I am often recognized as one of the early distributors of PVC piping. .
Overhead Lifting Equipment
My second company manufactured and supplied overhead lifting equipment for industrial applications, including push-pull mechanisms and swedged fittings designed for strength and reliability.
After three years of successful operation, I sold the company to its employees—creating a path for continuity while recognizing the team that contributed to its growth.
OSHA Inspections
Within the niche of overhead lifting systems, I became one of a select few in the United States qualified to conduct Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspections.
As OSHA standards were implemented nationwide, this expertise placed our company ahead of the curve—driving rapid growth and increasing the business nearly tenfold.
Aerospace
In the aerospace sector, I provided push-pull equipment and contributed to the design of the steering mechanism for the Lunar Roving Vehicle.
In recognition of this work, NASA awarded me a certificate acknowledging my contribution to the success of the mission.
Wrought Iron
I acquired a steel company specializing in structural steel and custom wrought iron fabrication, serving high-end residential and commercial projects across California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
The business focused on precision, durability, and craftsmanship—delivering custom solutions designed to meet the specific needs of each client.
Sold it after 14 months to a Las Vegas Stair manufacturer.
Steel
Manufactured steel products for a range of industrial applications, including specialized components for wireline operations.
The emphasis was on strength, reliability, and performance in demanding operating conditions.
Casualty Insurance
Founded a casualty insurance company from the ground up to serve the needs of insurers and reinsurers across the United States.
The company reached profitability within 15 months and exceeded $1.25 billion in sales within 20 months—demonstrating rapid growth, strong market demand, and disciplined execution.
Credit Challenged Cell Phones
Created a cellular program for credit-challenged customers at LA Cellular, opening access to mobile service beyond traditional credit-based models.
Following its introduction, the company was acquired by AT&T, and the model became the foundation for what is now recognized as prepaid cellular service.

Worked with a privacy committee during the early stages of internet adoption, contributing to discussions around standards, data use, and user protection.
This involvement supported the development of responsible frameworks at a time when the internet was rapidly evolving.
V.O.I.P.
Executed an early-stage agreement with Qwest Communications to leverage fiber optic networks for international voice transmission.
This approach routed satellite-based calls from Europe through the United States via fiber, then back to London for termination—an early example of optimizing global voice traffic using emerging telecommunications infrastructure.
Satellite Communications
Worked in satellite communications across Europe, the United States, and Mexico—supporting the transmission of voice and data across international networks.
The focus was on enabling reliable, cross-border connectivity using satellite infrastructure during a period of rapid global growth in telecommunications.
Encryption
Contributed to the development and application of 128-bit and 256-bit encryption technologies within the satellite communications industry—supporting secure, reliable transmission of voice and data across international networks.
This work focused on advancing data security during a period of rapid growth in global communications infrastructure.
Touch Screen Computer Manufacturing
Led the development of one of the early touchscreen computers in the United States—the Cube QBE—advancing interactive computing during the early stages of the technology.
The product received “Best of COMDEX” recognition at COMDEX in 1997.
Advertising Agency
Founded and operated two advertising agencies during my career. The first established relationships with major financial institutions, including Bank of America, delivering targeted campaigns in a highly regulated environment.
The work focused on strategy, positioning, and execution designed to meet the standards of large-scale organizations.
Printing Plant
Owned and operated two printing companies, both acquired to support the strategic and production needs of my advertising agencies.
This approach provided end-to-end control—from creative development to final output—improving efficiency, quality, and delivery across all campaigns.
Ministry
Served as a minister for 22 years, including leading my own congregation in California.
Concluded my ministry in 1992, with that experience shaping a lifelong focus on leadership, communication, and service to others.
Consulting
Over the course of my career, I have consulted across a wide range of industries—helping organizations solve complex challenges, uncover opportunities, and implement practical, results-driven solutions.
It was through this work that I came to be known as “The Possibilist”—recognized for consistently identifying what’s possible and turning it into action.
Collections
Part owner in a general collections agency operating across California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada, providing receivables recovery services across multiple industries.
Later founded a specialized workers’ compensation collections agency that achieved rapid growth—reaching $150 million in collections within its first six months of operation.
Diamonds
Imported diamonds from Antwerp, Belgium—one of the world’s primary trading centers—supplying jewelers and clients across California, Arizona, and Utah.
Offered a variety of cuts, with stones up to 5 carats, focusing on quality sourcing and consistent supply within a competitive market.
Healthcare Insurance (PPO)
Developed and launched one of the first healthcare PPOs in Central California, establishing a managed care model designed to improve access and coordination of services.
The program achieved immediate adoption, enrolling 1,450 families in its first 30 days, and was sold within four months—reflecting strong market demand and execution.
Chiropractic Insurance (HMO)
Developed the first national chiropractic HMO in the United States, establishing a managed care model for chiropractic services.
The program’s first clients were professional stunt men and women—an early adopter group with a clear need for consistent, specialized care.
Oil Industry
Entered the oil industry by supplying production pumps, then expanded by acquiring an oilfield repair company to support field operations.
Developed a progressing cavity pump for oilfield applications, improving efficiency in challenging production environments.
Founded an international oil company with divisions in drilling and production, with a focus on downhole analytics to enhance performance and decision-making.
Automobile Anitheft
In 1976, participated in the design, manufacture, and commercialization of a fuel cut-off switch and valve system that rendered vehicles inoperable by interrupting fuel flow.
The design allowed only the residual fuel in the line between the valve and the carburetor, creating a simple, reliable anti-theft solution.
Automotive Sales
While in and out of the Air Force, supplemented my income by selling new European automobiles, including Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Bentley, and Austin-Healey.
In addition, sold used sports cars independently, often working with returning veterans from the Vietnam War.
Masonry
Raised a Master Mason in 1997 and have since been actively involved in multiple Masonic bodies.

Oilfield Repair
Worked in oilfield repair while developing computer-based analytics systems for large-scale oil field operations.
This combination of field expertise and data-driven insight improved performance, diagnostics, and operational decision-making.

Produced television programming and special televised events, overseeing both production and studio infrastructure.
Content was distributed across national and international platforms, expanding reach and audience engagement.
Event Planning
Planned and produced events for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, overseeing logistics, operations, and overall experience.
The largest event—a concours d’elegance—hosted just under 2,500 attendees, demonstrating the ability to execute large-scale, high-quality events.

Began speaking publicly in high school and continued throughout my business career, presenting both nationally and internationally.

Old Car Collector
Maintained a passion for Cadillac automobiles for more than 40 years, collecting and preserving classic models, including a 1941 Cadillac limousine with a divider window.
Served as President of the Las Vegas Cadillac Car Club from 2016 to 2020, growing the organization from 32 members with 56 cars to more than 140 members and over 480 cars—while promoting preservation, community, and appreciation of classic automotive heritage.
Home Remodeling and Repairs
While serving in the military, worked in home remodeling and repair for an insurance executive who owned more than 200 residential properties.
This involved ongoing renovation and maintenance work across multiple homes—building practical, hands-on experience in construction, repair, and project execution.

Anchor Chain Distribution
Managed the removal of anchor chain from dismantled ships, including testing and redistributing the chain for reuse on other vessels.
Also developed and manufactured anchor chain “curtains” designed for use in mine-related applications.
Italian Resturant
Early Work & Discipline
From the age of 10 through my early teens, worked in Nicoloci’s Italian restaurant from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
In addition to cooking, prepared Italian bread each Saturday to supply the restaurant through Tuesday—building discipline, consistency, and a strong work ethic that carried forward into everything that followed.
Wholesale Newspaper Distribution
Early Work & Discipline
At 16, began each day at 6:00 a.m. working at a dry cleaners, preparing boilers and equipment to ensure operations were ready.
Later in the day, partnered with my father delivering newspapers to carriers throughout the city—building a foundation of discipline, responsibility, and consistency that carried forward into my career.
Workers' Compensation Law Firm
In California, workers’ compensation cases can be handled without bar admission. Identifying a gap in the Southern California market, I founded a firm focused on representing injured workers and medical providers.
The firm employed eight recent law school graduates, handling cases referred by hospitals and providers on a contingency basis—providing structured support through the claims and recovery process.
Shoe Shine Stands
At seven years old, my father taught me how to properly shine shoes. With his guidance, I purchased my first kit and began working every Saturday at a local barbershop.
That experience built an early foundation of discipline, attention to detail, and pride in earning through service.
Automotive Detail
At 15, while living in an apartment complex with more than 250 units, we built a small weekend business washing and detailing tenants’ cars.
Working every Saturday and Sunday, this experience strengthened discipline, customer service, and the fundamentals of earning through consistent effort.

Began writing in 1983 with How to Sell, later selling the rights for use in vocational education.
In 1998, authored How to Sell Cars Using the Internet, which was acquired by General Motors and implemented as a training resource for dealerships nationwide.
Published Unlikely in 2021, a personal account of life and experience.
Since then, authored more than 31 children’s books and journals, nine fiction titles, and three books on Character, Integrity, and Credibility™ (CIC). In addition, written more than 700 published articles covering leadership, mentorship, business, and family.

In 1970, I encountered a pivotal moment when potential clients declined to do business with me due to my lack of understanding of professional presentation.
I sought guidance, learned how to present myself effectively, and applied those lessons. Since then, I have taught others the importance of appearance, first impressions, and how they influence credibility in business.
College Professor
Education & Teaching
While speaking publicly in business, I was often asked about my formal education—which I did not yet have. At the suggestion of a fellow CEO and University of Southern California graduate, I enrolled full-time in junior college using the GI Bill.
In my first term, I took six business courses with the same professor, who knew me from my business work. He invited me to teach portions of his night classes—sharing real-world experience with students actively working to build their careers.
