Why This Matters to Me — and Should to You
For most of my life, I’ve believed that character isn’t something you talk about — it’s something you live.
It’s built in the quiet moments when no one’s watching, and tested when everything seems to be falling apart.
That belief became the foundation for the CIC Initiative — Character, Integrity, and Credibility.
CIC was never just an organization. It was a reminder that who we are matters — in business, in families, and in the way we show up for one another.
It was born from the conviction that if we lose our character, we lose everything that truly counts. Over the years, I’ve watched good people struggle, companies falter, and families fracture — not for lack of talent or opportunity, but for lack of truth, consistency, and trust.
This matters to me because I’ve lived long enough to see what happens when people forget those values. And it should matter to you because the world still changes one choice, one word, one act of integrity at a time.
If something here reminds you of the kind of person you want to be — then the CIC mission is still alive, right where it belongs: inside you.
This is a subject that can cause a lot of curiosity. What follow is some easy to take informaton you can use in your personal, family, business, and in the community.

“As a Fellow Steward of Character, Integrity, and Credibility, I pledge to live each day in alignment with my values, to honor my word, and to build trust in every relationship.
My commitment to add my name alongside other Fellow Stewards signals my intent to carry these truths into the world — not only for myself, but for those whose lives I touch.”
