Re-election

Re-election fever is already taking hold in America.  Soon we’ll see ads all over the media. After giving a lot of thought to what’s really be accomplished and the condition of politics in Washington, D.C.; you have to ask, why would we re-elect any of the 545 people that supposed serve our interests.

Stimulus money has gone everywhere in search of big business and yet we know that it’s the small entrepreneuer that employs the bulk of our U.S. citizens.  It’s time for a change.  Have a look at this graphic and see if it makes sense to you.  If so, please pass it on.

Made in the U.S.A. Certified

For the past year, I’ve personally been more than a little consumed with the idea of  Made in America.  I thought back to a time when I tried to get business from a farming community 2 hours away from where our offices were located at the time.  No matter where I went, people were proud of their community and flatly stated, “Why should I buy from you if someone else in our community offers the same product?”

Frankly I never could overcome the objection so we did the next best thing, we bought the competitor in that community.

There’s a third party organization that’s at the forefront of the Made in the USA movement.  Certification is key (Click Here to Visit their Website).  You can’t just say it, you need to prove it by an audit of your products and the associated supply chain you use.  Why?

We’ve watched over the years as more and more people buy foreign cars.  Our U.S. manufacturer’s ego clearly got in the way of good common sense for a long time.  I’ll agree that foreign competetiors made U.S. manufacturers finally bring their A design and performace game.   It is hard to get brand loyalty back once you’ve let the customer down.

However, we NEED to support people in the U.S.A.  Our neighbors, friends and of course our families have all been affected by the lack of manufacturing and other types of jobs here in America.  I should also tell you that if I were an Indian from India or an Israeli or Egyptian citizen, I would say the same for each of those countries.

We should support with our dollars companies that make products in the U.S.A. What do you think?
