How green are you? Have you checked? What’s your carbon footprint? Does being green figure into what you’re doing, day-by-day? What does “green” mean to you?
Over the years I’ve watched as we first composted to eliminate some waste and benefit our soil and crops. Then came separate containers for recyclable materials for our home and office. That’s about where many of us have stopped. Why not do more? Why not go further? You can if you give yourself permission to do so.
All of us spend time thinking about our next move, next deal, next . . . Think about what being committed to being “green” means to you. A lot has been said about making a difference. You can. You can first make a difference in your own space, your own life. Next, look to the areas of responsibility that you have at home, at work, at school, at church and as an influence in the lives of others. You can and do make a difference. Please take the time to think of ways in which you can move yourself, your neighborhood, your community, nation and our world forward.
It all begins with you. Are you GREEN?
